Taos Chiropractic. LLC was established in 1976, by Donavon Christian, DC, MBA, BS. For over thirty-five years, Dr. Christian served the greater Taos community helping thousands of patients with his diversified chiropractic techniques. It is under his guidance that Taos Chiropractic has evolved into the largest alternative medicine clinic in the area. Today the clinic is comprised of two Doctors (listed below), and a helpful office staff.
Douglas P. Christian, DC, APC, CCEP
Since 1992, Dr. Douglas Christian has practiced at the Taos Chiropractic Health Center in Taos, NM. He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas, and completed his Advanced Practice Certification (APC) in 2009, allowing him to have limited prescriptive authority and the ability to give myofascial trigger point injections.
Dr. Christian has a wide range of skills in the management and treatment of neuromuscular conditions. A Certified Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner (CCEP), he is trained in Diversified Technique, Extremity Adjusting, Activator, Active Release Technique (ART), Applied Kinesiology (AK), Graston, Cranial Release, Biopuncture (homeopathic trigger point injection) and Dry Needling.

Oriental Medicine health care seeks to restore health through natural means by giving the body maximum opportunity to utilize its inherent recuperative powers. By evaluating the interactive balances of chemical, mental, emotional, environmental and structural factors of a person’s health, the Doctor of Oriental Medicine is able to direct proper therapy to aid in restoring a healthy balance.
The various therapies utilized by Dr. Keith include acupuncture/meridian therapy, various myofascial therapies, joint manipulation or mobilization/tuina, cranial techniques, clinical nutrition, herbal therapies, homeopathic remedies, dietary management, and various reflex procedures. Environmental and food sensitivites are also addressed.
